    Description

I'm selling my 69 Road Runner because I need space in my garage and I just don't see having the time to finish my restoration in the next 5 years.  I bought this car about 7 years ago and drove it for about 2 years before coolant started leaking from the water pump and I decided to yank the engine and begin a restoration.  I completely disassembled everything that attached to the undercarriage of the car and either restored or replaced it.  Car was stripped to bare metal underneath and primed and new undercoating applied.  Car has new gas tank, rear leaf springs, 4 wheel disc brakes, new Hotchkiss upper control arms, new master cylinder, new steering box and probably a lot of other things I am forgetting since I haven't worked on it in 4 years.  I have all of the parts that came off of the car, and some new parts as well.  I think the only thing needed to purchase will be new fuel lines and whatever else the new owner wants to add.  Car has a 383 engine, but I don't think it is original to the car.  It also has a 3 speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.  Sure Grip Rear end.  Engine and transmission worked when I took them out of the car.  I was hoping to either rebuild or replace them during my restoration.  Car is rare Petty Blue, and all equipment matches the trim tag, including factory coded for special order paint.  As I am not the original owner, I cannot attest to the authentication of the car, but I have been all over this car inside and out and have found no evidence of any other color.  I would recommend the new buyer either be someone who is familiar with how to work on old Mopars, or has the $$ available to pay someone to put this back together for you.  There are minor blemishes to the body, and the only rust I have found on it is on the rocker panels on each side of the door and on the lower part of the rear driver side wheel well.   This car is not perfect but is a steal at the opening bid price.  It wouldn't take much more to make this a very valuable car, I just don't have the time or space right now.  I have included pics of what the car looked like before I disassembled it, and what it looks like now.  I have a lot more pictures, but eBay is limiting me to showing only 24.  I can text serious buyers more pics.  I also have over 100 pics to give to the buyer that will assist with reassembly.  Buyer will have to arrange to pick up car, as it is not running and you will need to get the engine, transmission, and parts.  A pickup with a car trailer that has a winch on it will work fine and be able to get everything I have.  Please don't bid if you don't have the $$ to purchase, or the means to get this car to your location.  Good luck.
