Description

This Auction is for a complete 0 time overhauled Continental A-65-8 Aircraft engine. This motor was
overhauled and assembled by  Alan Buchner Airframe and Power plant mechanic and A I who has been building engines and restoring vintage aircraft for over 50 years. Alan is a perfectionist and built this engine in 2014 with overhauled Eiseman mags , overhauled carb. all engine logs ,   2300 RPM Engine was pickled properly after assembly in dry indoor storage.
Google Alan Buchner Aero Specialties and see some of his history as a pilot and mechanic. This engine is yellow tagged and ready for install.
I will list it for pick up , Engine is located at Alan's hangar at  the Pine Mountain lake  airport in  Groveland Ca.   Arrangements can be made for delivery from my private shipper who is less expensive in
in most cases than building a crate and shipping by commercial trucking which there is always the hazard of damage or loss. Engine would be put on a pallet and tires and shipped in an enclosed box
trailer. price for shipping would depend on your location.
