Girard Wrench Mfg. Co. Girard PA. U.S.A., "RAILROAD ROUGH" wrench stamped with "N.Y.C.R.R." - the NewYork Central Railroad.  The wrench is from a home about two miles from the old NYC tracks here in Central New York state.  Girard made wrenches from 1878 to the early 1920's.
The wrench is in remarkably good condition, straight, and operates smoothly.  The handle is all solid metal.  It is clean and ready to use or display.  I usually will note that a tool has "no owner's marks" but this one proudly wears the N.Y.C.R.R. stamping.
