    Description

    Large Railroad Oil Can, Galvanized Steel, has been repaired, maybe Union Pacific.
    This is a large galvanized steel locomotive oil can. The galvanizing shows normal oxidation and there is no rust. The spout was off of the can when I got it and I (stupidly) soldered the spout back on. It looks good but you can sure tell that it has been resoldered. U.P. is formed into the front of the can in 3/8" high letters. This is no guarantee that this is a Union Pacific can but the person I got the can from lived near the Union Pacific yard in Eureka Utah. The can is also slightly dented around the UP stamp.
