Pewter with Enamel Chile Peppers Front
This is a pewter New Mexico State thimble with an enamel front showing Chile peppers and the words New Mexico. The thimble is dimpled on all sides.
The thimble is about 15/16" tall and 13/16" in diameter.
I've displayed this thimble for years, so there is handling and shelf wear. Please take a close look at enlarged photos to get a detailed description of conditions. I don't see any flaws on this one other than wear on the metal around the enamel, but photos can often pick up details my eyes miss. I try to take photos of different angles in different lighting.
