Powered breadboard Nida
NIDA Model 130A Test Console & TRAINER. Tested good for 100% operation of all functions, passes all self-tests on power-up. Calibration meets manufacturer's specifications. Positive and negative DC supply, adjustable to 24 volts available to each of 3 areas PC1, PC2 and PC3. Separate AC supplies (6.3V & 12/24V RMS) available to the PC1 and PC2 positions. Auxiliary I/O connections available for built in speaker and input/output BNC's on the front panel. Cosmetically great condition, clean. The keypad and display in the upper right of the unit is used to select different relays for opening/closing circuits, grounding circuits, or inter-connecting the three PC sections. Relay codes for to each of 3 areas PC1, PC2 and PC3 are entered into the display for energizing or de-energizing a unique relay from a bank of relays for each PC position.
One useful application for the Nida 130A if not needed as a electronics trainer is to convert it to a powered prototyping console and solderless breadboard. I have a converted trainer of my own that I’ve used for years for component and circuit testing & have found it to be very versatile having all the AC & DC supplies I need in one place plus BNC connectors for external signal sources.
