ROME WATERTOWN & OGDENSBURG RAILROAD (RW&ORR) MARKED ANTIQUE #3 MONKEY WRENCH

Up for auction is this great and very rare antique Rome, Watertown & Ogdensburg Railroad (RW&ORR) marked wood handled #3 adjustable monkey wrench.  Marked on the top of the tool "RW&ORR".  Also marked that it was manufactured by C. Yeomans, in Worcester, England.  Yeoman's made tools for railroads in the mid to late 1800's.  The Rome, Watertown & Ogdensburg Railroad operated in New York state (USA) from 1842-1913.  The wrench we are selling was used from the mid to late 1800's .  It has a  wood handle and heavy metal head.  Measures about 12 inches long.   Well intact and usable.  Some expected wear to head, where it was used.    Wood and metal exhibit a great antique patina!  A terrific and very hard to find piece in nice shape and a wonderful addition to any Railroadiana collection.  Offered with NO RESERVE!!
