1933 WORLDS FAIR CHICAGO ILLINOIS SOUVEIR PILLOW CASE SHAM.

-measures approximately 16 inch x 16 inch
-takes 16 x16 inch pillow form (not included) if to be used as pillow - could also be mounted for display
-front cover is red silk/satin material with olive green lace trim
-front imprinted (silk screened?) with "World's Fair 1933 Chicago" "1833 Century of Progress 1933" and various landmark buildings from the fair (Golden Temple of Jehol, Travel and Transportation Building, Adler Planetarium, Three Fluted Towers around Dome of Federal Building, Hall of Science, Fort Dearborn, View of Administration Bldg. from Soldier's Field, Buckingham Memorial Fountain and Electrical Building)
-back cover is mult color fabric with circle diamond print pattern of flowers, trees and farm buildings on pink background
-one size open/unstitched for pillow insert
CONDITION
: great/excellent clean, no fabric wear or thinning spots, no stains, no ink or other marks, no tears/rips, all seams/stitching intact, lace trim with no fraying or loop breaks/cuts, colors bright, no color fading, fold creases present from being folded for years but could be ironed out, no odor, from smoke free house.
This is a unique one of a kind souvenir item. My limited reseach appears to show that these were not mass produced and used various fabrics, lace and/or color schemes making each one different. This is an 88 year old piece
of history.
