Vintage American Scale 2" x 12" Screw Jack - Railroad/House Jack - Works Well

Description

This listing is for the vintage American Scale screw jack as shown.  Good used condition, acme threads are in good shape and the jack travels well.  This jack has a 2" diameter thread.  Height when down is appx 16" and when up it is appx 23.5" with full thread engagement still in the base.  It will go higher but you sacrifice strength as thread engagement is less than ideal.  Yes, I could take the jack apart, have it sand blasted, paint it and make it look snappy, but I figure more buyers would rather do that themselves and save the money I would have to charge to do all that.  Besides, many collectors like originality.  As with most jacks of this age, it certainly wouldn't hurt to clean all the threads and re-lube it.  Weighs appx 27 pounds as you see it, packaging will add a few pounds.  Of course LOCAL PICKUP is always an option, so if you are close or feel like taking a drive, that is an option.
