Vintage NYCRR New York Central Railroad Track or Rail Thermometer TESTED

Description

This Vintage NYCRR New York Central Railroad Track or Rail Thermometer is used for laying track.  The temperature readings appear to be accurate with no breaks or cracks in the thermometer.  The thermometer reads from -30 to 130 degrees F.  It includes separation requirements for 33' and 39' track sections.  It is made by the Philadelphia Thermometer Company.  All of the text is etched into the thermometer, so it won't rub off with use.  Very nice construction.
